Robbie Bowman and Luke Symington drafted by London House Kings for World Junior League

Durham Academy players Robbie Bowman and Luke Symington have been drafted by London House Kings for the World Junior League.

Wicketkeeper-batter Bowman and all-rounder Symington will join up with the UK-based side ahead of the T20 competition’s opening fixture on Saturday 8 November after succeeding in trials to feature in the United Arab Emirates tournament.

Bowman’s selection comes off the back of a season where he made his professional debut for Durham in the Metro Bank One Day Cup whilst Symington has impressed with the bat for Durham Second XI.

The Under 18s competition featuring 10 sides from across the United Kingdom, the United States, the UAE and Australia will be contested over a week with games being played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium and Seven Districts Ground.

The World Junior League, co-owned by Adil Rashid, is hosting its second edition after hosting an Under 14s tournament in April 2025 with Sharjah becoming the inaugural champions.
