Rimmington returns as Lewis names 13-man squad to face Northamptonshire

Nathan Rimmington returns to the red ball squad as Durham aim for back-to-back wins in the Specsavers County Championship.

The 35-year-old, who was rested for the Glamorgan clash at Cardiff last week, will replace Josh Coughlin for tomorrow’s fixture at Emirates Riverside (Aug 28, 11am start).

Rimmington will join up with new signings Alex Lees and Axar Patel who hugely impressed on their debuts with Lees scoring an impressive half-century and Patel finishing unbeaten on 95*.

Tom Latham will not feature as he has now returned to New Zealand and Mark Wood is still not available for the four-day format.
