Richardson returns for Blast home opener

Michael Richardson makes his return to the First XI in a 14-man squad to face Yorkshire Vikings at Emirates Riverside.

Richardson made his batting comeback during the Second XI Championship match against MCC Young Cricketers this week & came through the game without trouble.

He is likely to come back into the XI in a format he has excelled in during the last two seasons.

All-rounder Liam Trevaskis is also included in the squad. Trevaskis made his T20 debut for the Club last season in the home defeat to Notts Outlaws.

Gareth Harte & Ryan Pringle drop out of the squad, the former due to an ongoing thumb injury while Pringle has sustained a finger injury.

The Jets make their home bow with two points on the board following a win & defeat to start this season’s Vitality Blast.

Advanced tickets go off sale at midnight tonight & are available at £15 adults & £5 juniors. Adults on-the-day prices are £20 adults & juniors £5.
