Revealed: Our new RL50 shirt!

Mark Wood & Chris Rushworth both star in the launch video & promotional material for the club’s new Port of Tyne sponsored Royal London One-Day Cup shirts.

The new kit was officially launched at the Port of Tyne’s Riverside Quay – where both bowlers put the Gray-Nicolls shirt through their paces.

The new shirt features a collared jersey made from lightweight polyester and incorporates the famous navy blue and yellow colourway that was prominent during Durham’s Royal London One-Day Cup win in 2014.

The 2018 shirt has an added geometric design printed up both sides of the jersey.

Durham County Cricket Club, Head of Marketing and Communications, David Jackson, said: “We’re delighted with the new kit and believe it’s a perfect mix of a modern, white-ball cricket shirt, while still having Durham’s traditional values incorporated.

“It was fantastic to be able to film our launch video at the Port of Tyne, one of our highly valued sponsors, and I believe the video not only showcases the exceptional shirt design and regional identity but also epitomises what Durham County Cricket Club stands for – hard work, dedication and commitment.

“We understand that a new kit identifies the start of a fresh, exciting season and it was great to be able to work with Port of Tyne and sportswear manufacturer Gray-Nicolls in producing a piece of content that exhibits the shirt that the players will wear throughout the Royal London One-Day Cup campaign.”

The kit is available to buy online NOW & in the Club’s on-site shop.
