Pre Season Junior Cricket Academy

Durham CCC are running two pre-season academy sessions on the following dates:

• Monday 21st December 9.30am-12.30pm
• Tuesday 22nd December 9.30am-12.30pm

The academy itself is being run by Durham Academy coaching staff John Windows and Alistair Maiden with help from Durham players. Participants will have an academy pre-season fitness assessment with an introduction to strength and conditioning coaching, followed by an in-depth batting, bowling and fielding analysis in the indoor school where the cricketers technique will be examined. All attendants will also receive a behind the scenes tour of the ground and a Durham CCC coaching t-shirt.

The academy is open to young cricketers aged 11-17, both boys and girls. The price of each session is £25 and is limited to 20 participants to ensure individual attention and high quality practice.

This will be a fantastic experience for any young cricketer, getting an insight into the physical and psychological aspects of being a professional cricketer and get an edge to their game ahead of the new season.

To book your place on this academy, or for more information please download an application form and return it to the Club or contact Community Coach Richard Hopper (richard.hopper@durhamccc.co.uk) on 0191 387 2816
