Durham Cricket are pleased to announce the signing of Ollie Robinson on loan from Kent for the Vitality Blast.

The 23-year-old will be available for the entirety of the Vitality Blast and is available for selection from Thursday night’s Blast opener away to Leicestershire Foxes.

Robinson has played 18 times for Kent in the Vitality Blast being part of the Spitfires side who won the competition in 2021.

He is a regular for Kent in the County Championship with almost 2000 first-class runs including a highest score of 143 against Warwickshire, with 128 catches and 2 stumpings.

Marcus North, Director of Cricket, said: “Following a few injuries and England selection affecting our squad, we are excited to have Ollie for our Vitality Blast campaign.”

“He is an exciting young talent who will offer us multiple skill options. We look forward to welcoming him to Durham”

Ollie will return to Kent for their LV= Insurance County Championship matches during the Vitality Blast and may be recalled from his loan at any time in the case of an injury to a Kent player or an England call-up.
