MUSTARD IS TRIPLE AWARD WINNER

Mustard was a triple award winner on the night, claiming the accolades for Emirates Player of the Year, which is selected by the Durham membership, the Eaga Players’ Player of the Year and the Muckle Fielder of the Year awards.

Michael Di Venuto claimed the award for Brewin Dolphin Batsman of the Year having scored over 1000 runs in the four day competition.  Bowling honours were awarded to Ian Blackwell who collected the Benfield Motors Bowler of the Year award having finished the season as the highest wicket taker in the LV= County Championship. 

Allrounder Ben Stokes was named EBAC Young Player of the Year after breaking into the first eleven and significantly contributing to the senior squad, especially in the four day game. 

Karl Turner was awarded the Yuill Homes 2XI Player of the Year Award after scoring over 1200 runs over the summer.

Esh Community Player of the Year Award was Will Gidman after his involvement with numerous Community and Commercial projects in the past 12 months.

Maurice Lacroix presented a designer watch to the Most Valuable Players (MVP’s) in each of the three domestic competitions with Phil Mustard (FPt20), Ben Harmison (CB40) and Ian Blackwell (LV=CC) claiming the prizes.
