Membership and Yearbook further announcement

Following Durham Cricket’s recent announcement regarding the collection of membership cards and yearbooks we would like to give members a further update on this ahead of collection on Wednesday and Thursday.

We are aware that some members live a considerable distance away and some may not be able to collect this week. If you can’t make collection, then your membership card will be sent out when staff return to operation following furlough. At this current moment we aren’t able to facilitate posting as we are operating with limited staff.

We have received a number of requests from members to collect membership cards and yearbooks and therefore we are now allowing members to collect due to the government restrictions being eased.

Please be assured that there are enough Yearbooks for every member and they will be available for collection or post at a later date.

With regards to membership – there are positive signs that some cricket could be played during August and September and a number of potential schedules are being worked on by the ECB and include some championship cricket.

Once a schedule is confirmed we will make further announcements concerning 2020 membership.

We recently announced an update on the postponement of the England v Australia IT20 which was due to take place at Emirates Riverside on 3 July. Refunds and exchanges will be available for this fixture once further details are finalised around the fixture and insurance. This is likely to be in August.

Durham Cricket would once again like to thank all members, supporters and sponsors for their ongoing support during this difficult period.
