Latest Player Whereabouts: Borthwick spotted in Adelaide

Kyle Coetzer has been representing Scotland in the ICC Intercontinental Cup in the UAE while Mitchell Claydon and Ian Blackwell are competing in New Zealand’s t20 competition, the HRV Cup, for Canterbury and Central Districts.

The competition started last week and both teams currently have four points, with Canterbury having won their only fixture so far and Central Districts registering a win and a loss.  

Claydon was a doubt for the opening game after injuring his hand in the warm up but did play taking one wicket in his four over spell.  Blackwell top scored with 45 in his opening game, and picked up three wickets in his second outing.  You can follow their progress here
