To match the fast and furious on-field entertainment, there are extra activities for all ages to enjoy; before, during and after the match.
Are you a family looking for a cost-effective, exciting evening out? Wanting to start your Friday night in style?
From buskers at the bar to our regular ‘Meet the Players’ signing session, you are sure to be entertained from beginning to end.
The children’s fun fair will be a certain favourite with the little ones, available from two hours before play begins; a bucking bronco, bouncy castle among others!
Our Mini & Junior Jets are encouraging the creativity to flow with a crafts table and face painting both on offer, not forgetting the chance to recreate the actions of their cricketing heroes with our inflatable cricket.
The youngsters can then meet their favourite Durham Jets players with our signing session on the pitch after play has finished – if they proudly display their Jets colours, they could win ‘Fan of the Match’ with a prize on offer!
Buskers will welcome all comers to the ground with live music outside Austins Bar, where you can enjoy the tunes with a pre-match drink.
If that isn’t your thing, how about a game of bubble football?! In association with Bubble Ball UK, we are running a game of bubble football on the outfield – come down early enough and you could be selected to take part!
Once bubble football is complete, be sure to find your seat by 5:45pm as the match ball makes a grand entrance through the skies and down onto the ground via a stunning parachute display!
Come 6:30pm, you can enjoy the grand players’ firework entrance plus some very special guests will be arriving.
And after all that, the main event takes place – the Jets vs the Vikings!
