Durham Jets will play Sussex Sharks on Friday, 24 August (6:30pm start) for the right to play at Vitality Blast Finals Day 2018.
The second placed side from the North Group will face off against the third place in the South after Friday night’s final round of fixtures.
The Jets’ abandoned fixture against Derbyshire Falcons could not secure top spot, with Worcestershire Rapids’ victory over neighbours Birmingham Bears lifting them to the top on net-run-rate.
With all to play for in the South Group, Sussex’s victory over Middlesex was enough to bump them into third spot after Gloucestershire failed to beat Hampshire.
It’s only Durham’s second home quarter-final in history after the win over Glamorgan to reach Finals Day back in 2008 & will also be the first time Durham have met Sussex in a T20 match.
It means the two face off in a mouthwatering clash under the Emirates Riverside lights with a bumper crowd expected to roar the Jets on.
Even before a date & opponent was confirmed, Durham’s members & supporters have moved quickly to book their tickets after they went on sale at midday on Friday.
And to cope with the anticipated high demand, the Club’s Box Office will be open between 10am-4pm over the weekend to assist with queries & ticket purchases.
Tickets are on sale at £15 adults with juniors admitted FREE. Members, gold members & Vitality Blast season ticket holders can purchase at the reduced price of £10 up until the day of the game, & these reduced price tickets must be purchased over the phone or in person at the ground.
Members who renew their membership for 2019 at the early bird price before the quarter-final will be given a ticket free of charge.
Junior tickets cannot be claimed online but will be given out at the gates on matchday.
