James Weighell completes loan move to Leicestershire

Durham Cricket can today confirm that James Weighell has joined Leicestershire on loan for the remainder of the 2020 season.

Weighell who will leave Durham at the end of the season when his contract expires, will be available for the Foxes in both red and white ball formats.

The 26-year-old has completed his move to the East Midlands in time to make his debut for the Foxes on Saturday, if selected, as they face Derbyshire at the Fischer County Ground, Grace Road.

Director of Cricket, Marcus North said: “I would like to wish James the best of luck for the remainder of the season at Leicestershire and hope all goes well for whatever follows next.”
