Howzat supporter wins big with NYCDA Weekly Draw

As part of our partnership with NYCDA, we were delighted to recently head to north of Morpeth and visit recent big prize winner Janet Wilson, to say hello for a photo opportunity.

Featured here you can see Janet with the giant promotional cheque to celebrate her £1000 win as a supporter of the Howzat partnership with the NYCDA Weekly Draw.

Always happy to support the club and its desire to grow its youth and community development activities, the surprised, green fingered Janet will spend her well deserved winnings on her garden

Often journeying on the bus, Janet has been a regular at the Chester le Street ground since the club’s inception to watch all formats of the game, as well as taking in many international contests over the years

Her longstanding love of cricket predates the county side and first developed after watching her dad play the game at a local level. Over the years, Janet and her family can always be found sitting in front of the dressing rooms at the Riverside Ground. Her favourite Durham player of all time is the great Paul Collingwood and her best memories including watching touring Aussie sides, as well as was seeing Sri Lanka’s superstar Mahela Jayawardene walking past her on the way to and from the dressing rooms.

For as little as £1 per week, you too can be in with a chance to win £1000s in cash prizes in every week via the NYCDA Weekly Draw, whilst supporting the club’s youth and community programmes. For more information, including how to join and where the proceeds go, please visit Howzat Partnership – Durham Cricket or email howzat@durhamcricket.co.uk
