Geoff Cook and his wife Judith have asked to thank everyone who sent in well wishes and that they were incredibly overwhelmed by all the people who expressed their concerns and offered their best wishes following Geoff’s recent illness.
Cook said: ‘It has been a really humbling experience and the support of players, staff, members and friends has been a terrific help during the recovery process over the past few weeks’.
Geoff has visited the club in the last week as they have enjoyed success in the Friends Life t20 and has said he is feeling fine but is in no immediate rush to come back into full time work. He will be eagerly following the sides matches as they prepare for a few big matches in coming weeks.
