Further ODI ticket allocation goes on sale on Monday

Durham County Cricket Club will release a further final ticket allocation for the NatWest Series One Day International match between England and Australia, which takes place at Emirates Durham ICG in July, on Monday 30 April at 9.00am.

The allocation of 2500 seats will be located in the new permanent North East Terrace stand, on which construction begins this week and will be situated on the East side of the ground.  The new stand will replace the temporary  stand which is usually constructed for major match days and will offer spectators a much enhanced viewing experience with wider gangways and improved leg room.

The stadium sold out of its initial allocation for the match, on Saturday 7 July, within five weeks of going on general sale so those cricket fans who missed out are advised to act quickly to avoid disappointment.

Durham CCC Chief Executive, David Harker, said: “International cricket at Emirates Durham ICG is always incredibly well supported and we’re delighted that we can confirm the construction of the new North East Terrace which enables us to improve the match day experience of those people that enjoy sitting in that side of the ground as well as moving a step closer to completing the building structures around the circumference of the stadium.
“The initial ticket allocation for this match sold out quickly and our Box Office has been inundated with ticket queries for months about this next release of seats so we do expect that this allocation will be snapped up just as fast and are therefore advising that those wishing to attend buy their tickets as soon as possible.”

Tickets are priced at £60 and go on sale at 9.00am on Monday 30 April.  Tickets can be purchased online at www.durhamccc.co.uk or by calling the Box Office, during office hours, on 0844 499 4466.
