Head Coach Geoff Cook, said, “We probably had the worst of the weather of any of the teams in the northern group, ironically enough, all you can do is ask for a chance to quality and obviously the last two games have been a real disappointment . Having played reasonably well at Worcester, giving ourselves half a chance, then playing well in the part of the game we managed to play against Derby, it was disappointing not getting on the field to finish that game off and to not get a chance to play here tonight.
“If the game had been shortened we would have changed the team around a bit – we saw the wicket before the game and would have kept the same team that played in the last one and a half games.”
The Dynamos final Friends Provident t20 fixture is this Sunday (18 July) when they face Northants Steelbacks at Emirates Durham, 2.30pm start.
