Foundation Dance Programme Sunday 20th June

The programme for children, sponsored by Northumbria Water, is aimed at further involving Durham CCC in the community by encouraging children and teenagers to get active and stay healthy and has been led by the specialist dance company, TinArts.

Durham CCC Community Coach, Richard Hopper, on the Durham County Cricket Foundation Dance Programme:

“When we came up with the idea of this programme, the primary goal was to get more kids active and that has been only part of what we have achieved. The project has really involved a lot of people, and I feel it has been a great programme for us to develop our links within communities that may not necessarily have been involved in cricket or with Durham CCC before. I’ve been really impressed by the dedication and enthusiasm of the children involved and I can’t wait to see their final performance!”

Mark Foster, Director of Marketing at Durham CCC, commented :

“It’s definitely going to be a great day for all the family on Sunday, especially since the game falls on Father’s Day. It’s a perfect opportunity to enjoy some really exciting cricket in family friendly surroundings. There’s plenty going on at the ground so even the youngest fans will be entertained! Tickets are currently selling really well, and after last week’s sell out,I would recommend you buy your tickets early to guarantee your seat.”
