Friday 9:30am – The umpires have inspected and we can confirm it will be a delayed start.

Friday 8am – The covers had been removed however a heavy shower has hit Chester le Street and the covers are heading back on.

9am Thursday – It is raining very heavily in Chester le Street, with large puddles on the outfield. With the overnight rain and forecast, play this morning will be delayed.

9:30am – The toss is officially delayed.

9:50am – An early lunch will be taken at 12 noon with an inspection to follow after lunch.

12:00pm – Rain has continued to fall and the umpires have concluded that no play is possible on day one.
