England v India Travel Options – Parking Sold Out

With only a couple of days to go until the big match car parking around the Emirates Durham ICG has now Sold Out.

If you have not purchased a pass for the day alternative travel options can be found below. Any cars turning up at Emirates Durham ICG on Saturday without a parking pass will find themselves redirected to the Park and Ride site available at Lambton Estates (DH3 4PQ).

Park and Ride

The alternative for those without a pre-paid parking pass is to use our Park and Ride service from Lambton Estates (DH3 4PQ). This park and ride service is signposted from all major routes and will be available from 7.30am and is priced at only £2 per car which is payable on the day at the Park and Ride site. Buses will run until 30minutes after the close of play.

Train

A limited number of trains stop at Chester-le-Street station, a fifteen minute walk from the Emirates Durham. A more extensive service operates to Durham station from where Durham CCC will operate a shuttle bus service. The shuttle bus service will operate from 7.30am to 10.30am in the morning, with a return service operating 30 minutes prior the close of play or abandonment of the game. The cost of this service is £2.00 per single journey and is paid on the shuttle bus.
