England v India ODI sells out

Demand for ground admission tickets has been huge since they were released in late October and the last few hundred tickets were snapped up early this week.

Durham CCC Chief Executive, David Harker, said, “It’s obviously great news for the match to already be sold out.   To have sold 17,000 five months before the game is due to be played is a real achievement and it just goes to show what great support cricket has in the north east.

“Tickets sold well as soon as they were released and the last few thousand sold especially fast as India progressed through the World Cup.  We’re looking forward to welcoming England and the World Champions to a packed Emirates Durham later this summer.

“The Box Office can now turn their attention to administering the huge anticipated demand for Australia tickets, both for the ODI in 2012 and the Ashes in 2013.”

There are limited hospitality places remaining for this fixture – for further details please contact Tom Seymour on 0191 387 2874 or tom.seymour@durhamccc.co.uk
