Emirates Day Selling Fast

As gates open at 4.00pm, there will be live music in the concourse, Emirates cabin crew will be handing out thunder sticks and caps to all supporters, the ECB Cricket Factory will be open for youngsters to test their cricketing skills, as well as go karts, a golf bunker simulator, bouncy castles and face painters to keep fans entertained ahead of the game.  There will also be our beach area which includes hot tub, beach bar, BBQ, ice cream van, beach volleyball and a surf simulator.

Pre-Match entertainment will also include our First Ball of the Game competition where one lucky fan could win £10,000 txt BALL to 82100 to enter (see website for full terms and conditions), the ‘Emirates Upgrade’ which will see two lucky supporters have their ground admission tickets for the match upgraded to passes for corporate hospitality, fantastic fireworks and cheerleaders.

Emirates day on Friday will also unveil the new name of County Ground. With hundreds of entries one person will be lucky enough to win Flights to Australia with Emirates Airline and tickets to the Ashes Test Match in Brisbane.

With the beautiful weather covering Chester le Street in glorious sunshine we expect there to be no tickets left to purchase on the day. The last few tickets for a Friday night full of entertainment at County Ground are available to purchase now priced at £12 for adults and £5 for juniors from the Durham Box Office on 0844 499 4466. With a sell out crowd expected everyone is advised to get to the ground early to avoid match day congestion. Durham will also have a free park and ride facility available at Lambton estate (Friday 4th and Sunday 6th June) with more details available on the Durham Website, www.durhamccc.co.uk

On Sunday Durham also play host to Worcestershire Royals on Help For Heroes Sunday. Following Durham’s match the Army team will compete against Harmy’s All Stars. Tickets for Sunday’s match are still available priced at £12 for adults and £5 for juniors (booked in advance) and your ticket will cover you for both Twenty20 matches. With paintballing, army climbing walls and the match ball parachuted in it promises to be a great weekend of Entertainment in Chester le Street!!
