The Durham Dynamos return to 40-over cricket this week-end taking on Scotland at Titwood in Glasgow in the Yorkshire Bank 40 competition.
The Dynamos have not played a Yorkshire Bank 40 match since the middle of June, coming off wins against their opposition for this week-end and last year’s One-Day champions Hampshire. They currently hold the top spot on Pool B in the competition with five wins and two losses, 0.75 ahead of Essex with four fixtures remaining.
All the squad members who will travel to Scotland played in the Dynamos team throughout the t20 season which reached the quarter final stages in the Friends Life t20 with players finding form in the shorter format with four wins in a row before a loss to Northants in the quarter final this week. All-rounder Ben Stokes is in career best form with the bat whilst players such as Gordon Muchall, Gareth Breese and Phil Mustard also in good touch with the bat over the t20 season.
Durham will be further bolstered by Graham Onions who was not selected in the England XI for the 4th Investec Ashes Test at Durham and will travel to Glasgow with the Durham team.
