Durham’s Royal London One Day Cup campaign starts this Friday

Durham County Cricket Club’s 2018 Royal London One Day Cup campaign will start this Friday (May 18) against local-rivals Yorkshire at Emirates Riverside.

Jon Lewis’ side will be hoping for another strong white ball campaign after narrowly missing out on a quarter-final fixture last season, despite impressive victories over Warwickshire, Leicestershire Foxes, Northamptonshire Steelbacks and the tournament winners Notts Outlaws.

New Zealand international Tom Latham, who enjoyed a successful summer at Chester-le-Street in 2017, arrived at Durham this morning and will captain the team for this year’s competition. The 26-year-old will replace Aiden Markram as the club’s overseas player following the completion of Durham’s Specsavers County Championship fixture against Derbyshire today (May 14).

Friday’s fixture is a day, night game, which means supporters can arrive after work with the match starting at 2pm and finishing around 9.30pm. We’re pleased to have sold a number of tickets in advance due to many supporters purchasing our Yorkshire Double Deal that offered fans the chance to see both Friday’s match and our Derby Day Vitality Blast fixture against the Yorkshire Vikings on July 13.

Tickets start at £12 in advance and £15 on the day with junior tickets priced at £5.
