WHEN TO SEEK HELP

Help our stewards to help you

Durham Cricket club wants every spectator to have a really good day at South North. However if you do encounter a problem, please talk to the stewards. After every match, the Club receives correspondence from Members and other spectators regarding matters which could –and should –have been dealt with promptly and appropriately on the day. Whatever the issue, please don’t suffer in silence.

Wait until a break in play to leave or return to your seat

Movement whilst an over is in progress is probably the commonest single subject raised by Members and spectators, yet it is one of the trickier issues for stewards to have to deal with. By the time an incident has occurred, it is too late to have prevented it and the behaviour often becomes contagious within the vicinity. Please be considerate of your fellow spectators by waiting until the end of the over or suitable break in play before vacating or returning to your seat.
