Durham to take on Northumberland at Allendale in NCCA Showcase game

Durham Cricket are excited to confirm that we will be heading to Allendale CC on Friday 17 July to take on Northumberland in 2026’s NCCA Showcase fixture, before the start of the Men’s Metro Bank One Day Cup.

This will be Durham Men’s first 50-over outing in 2026, and the first time our men’s side will don this season’s 50-over kit.

Durham face Northumberland for the first time since 2024 where Ryan Campbell’s side were victorious by three wickets at Jesmond with the likes of Ben McKinney, Haydon Mustard and Scott Borthwick turning out for Durham. Northumberland were bowled out for 192 before Durham got home in the 47th over with three wickets in hand.

Northumberland reached T20 Finals Day last summer and have a strong connection with neighbours Durham with Haydon Mustard and Robbie Bowman featuring regularly.

This year’s NCCA Showcase fixture will take place on Friday 17 July, starting at 11am in Hexham. Admission is free while optional donations for entry into the raffle will be welcomed at the car park or gates.

Seating is limited, so it is recommended supporters bring their own chair or picnic blanket and dressing for the weather.
