Durham to play Yorkshire at Headingley

Durham Cricket can confirm the club will face Yorkshire in a two-day friendly at Emerald Headingley on Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 July.

The match will be used as red-ball practice and played behind closed doors.

The fixture will have multi-camera streamed coverage exclusive to Yorkshire’s qualified Members and Durham Members. Further information on how Members of both clubs will be able to watch the coverage will be sent in due course.

James Franklin, Durham Lead High Performance Coach said: “It is pleasing to see we have now confirmed a friendly against Yorkshire, as preparations begin for hopefully what will be a competitive two-month season.

“This will be the perfect opportunity for some match practice on the back of the lads training at Emirates Riverside and should provide us with a competitive warm up fixture.”
