Wednesday marked the return of the Durham Cricket playing squad as preparations for the new season got underway.
With the ECB giving the green light for men’s domestic cricket to resume on 1 August, the Durham squad began training in groups of twos with social distancing guidelines in place.
This was the beginning of the return to cricket phase, with six Durham bowlers returning last week to slowly build up their bowling.
