Durham squad presented LVCC trophy at Palace

The players visited Buckingham Palace for a reception with HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, where they were presented with the Trophy and their winners medals. 

Prior to their visit to the Palace the players visited The Lord’s Taverners head quarters at Buckingham Place for a lunch reception before head Coach Geoff Cook was presented with the ECB Lord’s Taverners Trophy by the President of The Lord’s Taverners, Bill Tidy, with ECB and LV representatives present.

The team then walked over to Buckingham Palace for their reception with HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.   The Duke of Edinburgh has been Patron and Twelfth Man of The Lord’s Taverners since 1950. 

Head Coach Geoff Cook said, “It was a great honour for go to Buckingham Palace to be presented with the Trophy.  It’s a marvellous way to top off what has been an excellent year for us.”
