Departing from Newcastle Airport on 25 March the squad will play a combination of one day and two day games against Sussex CCC as well as taking part in the Emirates 20Twenty competition at 7he Sevens stadium on 1st April.
The tour party will return on 2nd April ahead of their first class fixture against Durham University at The Racecourse ground which starts on 3rd April.
Geoff Cook, Durham CCC Head Coach, said, “The trip allows us to have a significant amount of outdoor practice which is vital because of the early start to the domestic season. It also gives us a chance to finalise our preparation and planning for the forthcoming season especially as we look to maximise the potential of the dual captaincy.”
