Durham Men and Women to tour Abu Dhabi for pre-season tour

Durham Cricket are delighted to announce that the Club will embark on a pre-season tour to the United Arab Emirates next month ahead of the 2026 cricket season.

Both Men’s and Women’s squads will tour the United Arab Emirates and be based in Abu Dhabi for a mixture of matches and warm weather training sessions.

Ryan Campbell’s squad depart Chester le Street on Monday 9 March for 12 days where they will be joined by other counties.

A three-day T20 festival from 13 to 15 March is followed by a two-day red-ball fixture against Yorkshire with matches being held at the Zayed Cricket Academy Complex.

Durham Women will depart for Abu Dhabi on Monday 23 March for 11 days with 50 over and T20 fixtures scheduled.

Danielle Hazell’s squad will compete in a T20 tournament going up against other sides from England and the United Arab Emirates with their matches also being played at the Zayed Cricket Academy Complex.
