Chief Executive, David Harker, said, “Shiv’s late arrival leaves us with an opportunity to bring in another overseas player for the first half of the season and at the minute we’re looking at a few players to see who could fit the bill.
“Essentially we have two options, bring one player in to cover Shiv’s entire absence or alternatively follow a similar pattern to last season where we brought in a specialised Twenty20 player for that competition and another player to cover the first part of the season.”
