Durham Defender benefits update

As part of the Durham Defender initiative members are invited to a pie and peas supper with Sir Ian Botham at The Riverside. Due to previous restrictions in place because of Covid it has notbeen possible to arrange this evening, however, the club are now in the process of arranging this event which will take place in April ahead of the 2022 season, as we look forward to celebrating and thanking all our Durham Defenders.

With the anticipated numbers expected to attend, we are looking to gauge interest from members at to whether they would prefer to attend an afternoon lunch or evening event with Sir Ian.

Please can members indicate their preference in the survey below. We will then provide confirmed details of the events and information on how defenders can book their tickets for the events.

Durham Defender Mural

Plans are underway to install the Durham Defender Mural to thank all members who were able to help the club through the pandemic. We will soon unveil two options for the mural which Defenders will then be given the opportunity to vote on. Once the votes have been cast the mural will be produced and unveiled in place at the first game of the 2022 season. More information on the designs and how to vote will follow soon.
