Durham County Cricket Club can today confirm that fast bowler Ruel Brathwaite has been de-registered with the club.
The 27-year old West Indian born bowler has been on Durham’s list for the past two years but has this season been unable to break it into the First team, playing the majority of his cricket this year with the Durham Second XI.
Due to this and to continue his development as a player he has found opportunities elsewhere and Durham CCC wish him all the best for the future.
Brathwaite has been included in Hampshire’s 12-man squad to take on against Northants at the Ageas Bowl this week in the LVCC Division 2 competition.
