Durham Cricket set for take-off with Teesside International Airport deal

Durham Cricket have entered a new partnership deal with Teesside International Airport.

The two-year deal will see Teesside International Airport branding displayed around the ground, including on the members lounge balcony and on the Paul Collingwood Pavilion.

The agreement will see the two organisations work alongside each other, with Durham Cricket branding being displayed at Teesside International Airport.

The Teesside Airport overhaul includes a new check-in area and state-of-the-art body and baggage scanners in an upgraded security zone. In the renovated departures lounge, World Duty Free has set up shop as part of a new 12-year deal, alongside a boutique House of Zana and Rejoy store offering the best products from local retailers. Not only that, but you will be able to relax in the new Transporter Bar and Kitchen or the Goosepool Bar plus two new executive lounges, the Middleton Lounge and Rockliffe Lounge, following a partnership with the Tees Valley’s only five-star hotel.

Tom Seymour, Sales Director at Durham Cricket said: “Teesside International Airport have become one of the region’s key assets and we are delighted to have joined together in this new exciting partnership.

Teesside Airport and its brand are recognised throughout the region and with new flight routes being added on a regular basis, including flights to seven countries across Europe this summer, it is an exciting time to be working with them over the next few years.”

Phil Forster, Managing Director of Teesside Airport added: “As international travel restrictions begin to ease, there’s no better time to be announcing this great partnership with Durham Cricket.

“Following a multi-million-pound transformation of our terminal building, our doors are wide open to welcome passengers from across the Tees Valley, County Durham and wider North East. With a growing number of summer sun destinations with Ryanair and more domestic services including London Heathrow we’re better connected to the world than ever before.”
