From the 2027 season, Senior Membership will be available to supporters aged 65 and over, bringing Durham Cricket’s membership criteria in line with the current national pension age.
The new criteria will apply to supporters becoming eligible for Senior Membership from the 2027 season onwards. To qualify for a Senior Membership for the 2027 season, supporters must be 65 years old on 1 January 2027, meaning they will turn 66 during the course of the year.
Durham Cricket is committed to supporting existing members through the change. Anyone who is currently on a Senior Membership will be able to retain their Senior Membership, even if they are under 65 and would not meet the new age criteria.
The change will therefore only affect supporters who are newly becoming eligible for Senior Membership from 2027 onwards.
The updated criteria form part of Durham Cricket’s preparations for the 2027 season, with further membership information and renewal details to be communicated to supporters ahead of the new campaign.
