Durham Cricket Foundation is set to launch its Winter Junior Development Courses, designed to support young players in developing their cricket skills through a structured series of professional coaching sessions.
These popular courses are open to players of all levels, from beginners to those already involved in Super 4s, club or school cricket, providing a valuable opportunity to sharpen their game during the off-season.
Delivered by Durham Cricket Foundation’s experienced coaching team, each course focuses on improving technical ability, tactical awareness and game understanding.
Throughout the four or five-week programme (depending on venue), players will receive coaching in a small-group environment, with ongoing individual feedback and guidance to help them improve.
Some players who go on to join the Super 4s programme, the Foundation’s structured, competitive training environment for promising young cricketers, start by taking part in these open Winter Courses.
Super 4s provides talented junior players with the opportunity to take part in a season-long programme, delivered free of charge, and coached by the Foundation. It offers a highly competitive training and match environment, allowing players to develop their skills, build lasting friendships and experience unique opportunities, including playing at the Banks Homes Riverside.
