Durham Cricket extend Nuffield partnership

Durham Cricket is delighted to announce that the club will continue its partnership with Nuffield Health Tees Hospital in Stockton as the Club’s official healthcare partner.

The partnership which launched in 2021 between Durham Cricket and Nuffield Health Tees Hospital gives the playing squad access to the healthcare provider’s specialist services, including pre-season checks, scans and surgery.

The hospital, based in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees is a provider of elective treatment for self-funding, medically insured and NHS patients and has a strong community presence, having established itself as one of the leading providers of private healthcare in the North East.

A not-for-profit healthcare organisation, Nuffield Health runs a network of award-winning hospitals and fitness & wellbeing gyms together with a host of other healthcare and diagnostic services across the country. Its purpose is to build a healthier nation through its dedication to supporting communities and being accessible to a wide range of patients.

Durham Cricket commercial director, Tom Seymour, said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Nuffield Health. Nuffield is a proven health organisation and for the Durham Cricket playing squad to have their services available to them, is something that the club will really benefit from. We look forward to continue working together.”

Hospital Director Stacey Brunton said: “Nuffield Health is passionate about making along standing impact on the communities in which we operate, with a purpose to help build a healthier nation.

“I am delighted that our renewed partnership shows that our values are aligned with the club and Durham Cricket Foundation in that we are able to impact positively on the mental and physical health of all involved.”
