Notice of Appointments
Following the notice of elections issued on 22 April 2014 (Notice of Elections) notice is hereby given that an appointment has been made to Durham County Cricket Club Trust’s (Trust) board of trustees.
1. Existing trustees
1.1 The existing trustees appointed by election are:
1.1.1 Robert Jackson – appointed 2006;
1.1.2 Kenneth Frankish – appointed 2006;
1.1.3 Ian Malcolm Howie – appointed 2006;
1.1.4 Kenneth William Gardiner (deceased) – appointed 2006;
1.2 The existing trustees appointed by Durham County Cricket Holdings Limited (Holdings) are:
1.2.1 David Harker – appointed 2006; and
1.2.2 Joseph Sherrington – appointed 2006.
2. Vacancies
2.1 Two trustees appointed by election are due to retire. These are:
2.1.1 Robert Jackson; and
2.1.2 Kenneth William Gardiner (deceased).
3. Appointment
Following the nomination process as detailed in the Notice of Elections, there were the same number of nominations to fill the vacancies left by the above retirements, and as such:
3.1 no election is required;
3.2 Robert Jackson is re-appointed; and
3.3 Simon John Emmerson Brown is appointed. It has been verified that he is eligible to be nominated and as such he will fill the remaining vacancy.
4. Trustees
4.1 On the basis of the above the continuing trustees shall be:
4.1.1 Robert Jackson – re-appointed by election 2014;
4.1.2 Simon John Emmerson Brown – appointed by election 2014;
4.1.3 Kenneth Frankish – appointed by election 2006;
4.1.4 Ian Malcolm Howie – appointed by election 2006;
4.1.5 David Harker – appointed by Holdings 2006; and
4.1.6 Joseph Sherrington – appointed by Holdings 2006.
