Durham CCC travel to Chelmsford to play Essex in their penultimate 2010 LV= County Championship fixture, which starts on Tuesday.
With Stephen Harmison (foot), Callum Thorp (calf), Mark Davies (leg) all unavailable for selection Durham CCC have signed Ruel Brathwaite, who has represented Durham 2XI this season on trial, for the remaining two fixtures of the season and could therefore make his first class debut at Chelmsford .
Liam Plunkett will travel and will hopefully be fit after turning an ankle in warm up last week.
