After what seems like an increasingly long winter, believe it or not the new County Cricket season is nearly upon us.
The players have been working hard in the gym and the indoor centre preparing for what hopes to be a silverware laden season at Durham CCC. They even braved the cold for some outdoor fielding practice on Monday morning at Emirates Durham ICG.
The players have recently been in Scotland taking part in team building exercises which can only aid them in the coming months.
Unfortunately, due to the current weather conditions, the game against Loughborough University on the 27th of March has been called off. The lads will still be working hard indoors, sharpening their skills for the start of the season and we can only hope the weather improves.
The players are due to travel down to Kidderminster on Thursday the 28th of March to play a pre-season match against Worcestershire CCC. As far as we know this game is still due to go ahead.
