Durham 2XI secured their place in the Second Eleven Trophy Final after beating Sussex by five wickets at Emirates Durham ICG today (Tuesday)
The hosts dismissed the visitors for 122, with three wickets for Mark Wood, two each for Paul Coughlin, Ryan Pringle and Lorenzo Ingram and James Weighell claiming one.
Durham were 22-3 in response but were led to victory by captain Gordon Muchall who was unbeaten on 69.
Durham will face Lancashire in the final on 11 September at Northern CC, Crosby with play scheduled to start at 12 noon.
