Durham beat Lancashire in friendly

Lancashire suffered an early blow before play when it was revealed that Gary Keedy had fractured his left collarbone after a fall trying to prevent a boundary on day one.  He’ll undergo surgery in the next few days.

It took five overs before Lancashire posted a run on the scoreboard and the batsmen never really looked comfortable with the first 6 wickets going for just 98 runs.

James Anderson was the highest scoring batsman, contributing 34 before becoming the last man to be sent back to the pavilion with Lancashire dismissed for 181.
