With pre-season now underway many of the Durham squad are spending their winter in sunnier climates playing overseas.

Haydon Mustard starred with a century for Murdoch University Melville Cricket Club. On the first day of their two-day encounter with Subiaco Marist, Mustard batting at four, struck 115 from 150 balls with nine fours and one maximum as his side reached 320/9 from 80 overs.
Abi Glen’s strong form with the bat continued as South Perth picked up T20 back-to-back victories. Opening the batting Glen made 51 from 32 deliveries in a dominant eight-wicket victory over Rockingham-Mandurah before adding 38 not out in a 10-wicket win over Melville.
Matthew Potts and Emilio Gay were in action for England Lions in their two-day pink ball fixture against the Prime Minister’s XI in Canberra. Potts claimed figures of 2/40 with the ball before Emilio Gay’s 56 helped lead the Lions to victory by eight wickets.
Mia Rogers was also in the runs as she hit a half-century for Geelong in their Duckworth-Lewis victory over Prahran. Rogers scored 50 from 51 balls as her Melbourne-based side racked up 236/8 in 39 overs before rain saw the game reduced with Geelong prevailing by 32 runs.
James Minto grabbed a pair of early wickets for England Under 19s in their penultimate Youth ODI against the West Indies. Minto reduced the hosts to 6/2 in their pursuit of 222 before the Caribbean side closed out the game with four wickets remaining.
Katherine Fraser impressed with both bat and ball as Scotland finished fourth in the inaugural Emerging Nations Trophy in Thailand. Fraser stood out with figures of 3/9 in her four overs against Namibia before adding 39 against the Netherlands.
