Collingwood returns for Lancashire clash

Just twelve points separate the two sides, with Lancashire third with 105 points and Durham sixth with 93, both having played eight games.

Collingwood’s most recent first class appearance for Durham was in their 2008 victory over Yorkshire at Headingley.

Collingwood won’t be the only familiar face returning to Emirates Durham as we’ll also be welcoming back former popular overseas player Shivnarine Chanderpaul, who is likely to be starting for Lancashire.

Head Coach Geoff Cook, said, “It’s a game we’re all looking forward to – Paul Collingwood is going to be playing for us, James Anderson is likely to play for them and there will be two really good attacks, it’ll be the team’s that strongest and most resilient that will come out on top.”

It promises to be an exciting game, with play scheduled to start at 11.00am each day. Tickets are available to purchase on the gate from 9.00am each day priced at £15 for adults and £6 for juniors.
