Durham batter Colin Ackermann has been included in The Netherlands’ squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup to be held in India and Sri Lanka.
The Royal Dutch Cricket Association (KNCB) has announced the squad for the T20 World Cup, which will take place from February 7 to March 8. The Dutch team will face Pakistan, Namibia, the USA, and India.
The Dutch team will play the opening match of the ICC T20 World Cup on February 7 against Pakistan in Sri Lanka. One of the other highlights is the match against reigning T20 world champions India, which will be played in Ahmedabad. The Narendra Modi Stadium has a capacity of 132,000 spectators.
Ryan Cook has selected an experienced squad. Most players have already played in one or more World Cups.
Ryan Cook: “With experience in the past few World Cups, having played against all of the teams in our group recently and having exposure to the conditions in Sri Lanka and India, we are confident in our preparations over the past few months.”
