Coetzer Hundred Keeps Scotland On Track

In the ICC World Cup Qualifier competiton Durham’s Kyle Coetzer scored 127 to help Scotland to a nine run victory over Oman.

Scotland have now got two wins and one defeat to stay on course for one of the World Cup Final qualification slots available.  Batting first Kyle struck 127 off 141 ball containing 12 fours and a six as Scotland posted a competitive 274 for the loss of nine wickets. 

In reply Oman got off to a flyer as opening batsmen Hussain scored 70 runs off only 30 balls. Following this early onslaught Sctoland picked up regular wickets and Oman eventually fell 9 runs short. 

In the previous qualifying match against Namibia Kyle contributed 68 as Scotland won by 73 runs.
