Club update; England v South Africa and South Northumberland game

As we approach the start of the 2022 season and a busy summer of cricket and events at the Riverside the club have outlined a number of updates to members and spectators.

The club are delighted to be hosting England v South Africa in a One-Day international on Tuesday 19 July and with the game selling out in just a few day days a bumper crowd will be in attendance to watch the national side in action.

Durham Cricket can confirm that this will be a day-nighter game played under floodlights and will commence at 1pm. Further information such as gate opening times will be outlined in communication to ticket buyers in due course.

Car parking for this game will go on sale from 10am on Monday 7 March with a link being sent out to all ticket buyers on Monday morning. Car parking passes are £10 per car and can be bought from the Durham Cricket website, in person at the box office between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday or by calling the box office on 0191 387 17 17.

Durham Cricket are delighted to announce we will return to South Northumberland Cricket Club for our opening RL50 game against Surrey on Thursday 4 August. Having played at the Gosforth ground since 2014 Durham will be back in action this summer, in what is always a superb fixture for members and spectators.

As would be the case at the Riverside, members are admitted on production of their membership card, match tickets will be available to purchase from Wednesday 9 March at 10am in person at the box office between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday or by calling the box office on 0191 387 17 17.

Further logistics such as gate access, seat access and catering will be published closer to the fixture.

All individual match tickets for 2022 will go on general sale from Wednesday 9 March at 10am.

Durham Cricket also have 3 pre-season friendlies ahead of the 2022 season and these will be announced in due course through the Durham cricket website and social media channels.
