Durham Cricket can announce the loan signing of Chris Benjamin.
The Warwickshire wicket-keeper batter comes straight into the squad for today’s LV=Insurance County Championship fixture against Sussex following Tom Mackintosh sustaining an injury to his hand.
Benjamin, a Durham University graduate scored 127 on his County Championship debut against Lancashire last summer and has since played 8 times for Warwickshire in red ball cricket.
The right-hander will be available for Durham’s final two County Championship games this season.
