Cameron Steel joins Hampshire on loan

Durham Cricket can confirm that Cameron Steel has joined Hampshire on loan.

25-year-old Steel has played 31 County Championship games for Durham, since making his debut against Gloucestershire in 2017.

The right-handed batsman will join up with Hampshire immediately, and will spend April and May with the South East county.

Director of Cricket, Marcus North said: “Cameron will join up with Hampshire for this initial Championship block of matches in our schedule as he seeks a greater opportunity to play first class cricket. We wish him well and will be following his performances closely.”
