Cambridge MCCU friendly cancelled

Durham’s friendly match against Cambridge MCCU at Fenner’s, scheduled for 25/26 March, has been cancelled due to the recent poor weather.

Grounds across the country have been affected by the recent heavy bouts of snow & the groundsman at Fenner’s has concluded the ground is not ready for cricket.

As a result, both days of the friendly have been cancelled.

Jon Lewis’ side will still travel southwards, though, as the two-day fixture against Middlesex at Merchant Taylors’ is still scheduled to go ahead on 27/28 March.

Other pre-season friendlies include Yorkshire at Emirates Riverside on 3/4 April before the annual three-day fixture against Durham MCCU, which begins on 13 April.
